My stay at the hotel was overall pleasant. The rooms, although simple, were clean, but I found it a little cold as the heating wasn't working perfectly. The service was extremely friendly and helpful, making up for any minor flaws. The location was convenient, with easy access to the coast and Dublin. The dining experience offered tasty options but could use some improvement. The facilities were decent, and the price was reasonable.

The hotel's location is just fantastic, situated right on the coast with stunning sea views and near Dublin. While the rooms in the older part were a bit dated and hot, the service was amazing. The dining was pricey, and the breakfast options were not impressive. Overall, convenient and friendly.

Rooms
6.0
My room, located in the older part of the hotel, was fearsomely hot and a bit dated. The tired fittings and poor TV stations were disappointing, but it was still comfortable.
Service

The service here was excellent; the staff were very helpful and accommodating. Despite the room's shortcomings, the service really stood out as top-notch.

The dining experience was mixed; the meals at the Bar/Restaurant were lovely, but the breakfast options were unimpressive and overpriced.

I must say, my stay at this hotel was quite memorable. The rooms, though a bit small, were impeccably clean and offered a cozy respite. The service, despite some limitations the staff faced, was genuinely friendly and welcoming. The location was superb, overlooking the stunning Portmarnock beach, and the availability of ample car parking added to the convenience. On the downside, I felt the need for a better-class hotel next time, but the proximity to the Bay and Portmarnock Golf Club was a significant plus.

Rooms
8.0
Although the room looked out into the parking lot and was a bit small, it was surprisingly large and very clean.
Service
7.0
The staff here, particularly in the food and bar area, were as friendly as can be despite the circumstances. Their efforts were truly appreciated.
Location
9.0
The location was fabulous, as I enjoyed lots of car parking facilities and the staff was very responsive to any requests. Moreover, overlooking the Portmarnock beach added to the charm.
Dining
7.0
The dining experience, albeit not the best, took me by surprise with a meal that outshone my other culinary explorations in the area by a country mile. The buffet-style setup was not the most appealing, but it turned out to be a better deal than what I initially expected.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities on offer served their purpose adequately, offering what was necessary for a comfortable stay.

While the hotel could improve its room quality, the location is superb, offering stunning beach views and friendly staff. Though the dining options were limited, the price was reasonable and the service was commendable.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms were old and had noticeable cleaning issues, but with some simple upgrades like new curtains and valances, they could look more upscale.
Service
7.0
The staff was very nice and accommodating, but they missed giving us an early morning wake-up call as requested.
Location
9.0
The location is fantastic right by the beach, with helpful and friendly staff, but the designated parking could be better managed.
Dining
6.0
While the breakfast service was lacking on certain mornings, the quality for the price was acceptable, especially with the Welsh pastries available.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The ground floor room was comfortable and provided easy access to the outside, but the room service option was limited due to the small table with only one chair. The spacious room had all the necessary facilities, and the location worked well for us.

Drawing back the curtains in the morning revealed fantastic views and lovely surroundings. Being right across from Portmarnock beach and close to the coastal walk to Malahide made the location superb.
Dining

The dining experience was superb overall, although it could have been a bit more organized to streamline the service. Friendly staff members added to the positive atmosphere of our meals.

I was really disappointed with my stay. The rooms to the front directly onto the car park were not only old but also dirty, with stains on the curtains and cobwebs hanging down from the lamp. The room was nothing like the pictures shown, very small, obviously worn decor and fittings. The price did not match the quality I expected, making it quite disappointing.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms were very obviously worn and small, not matching the shown pictures.
Service
5.0
The service was a letdown, especially with the argument over the quality of the food. The staff, including the manager John, had an awful attitude and were rude.
Location
7.0
The location was the only redeeming factor, being right on the seafront and a nice walk into Malahide. It was fantastic being centrally located near the beach.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was poor, with a mix of old wing facilities, shabby furniture, and poorly cooked food. Service was slow and the overall entrance awful.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities were outdated, with an old bathroom, no blinds, and shabby furniture. The overall smell in the corridors was unpleasant.
